Holly’s joyful work is injected with intricate surface pattern, plenty of colour and playful imagery made using gouache, pen and ink. She takes inspiration from vintage Eastern European design, mid century children’s illustration, impressionist painters & Mexican textiles. By using her own perspective as oppose to a purely accurate one, she gives her characters a distinctive charm.
